If you have mentioned to somebody EMC or CE marking, I am sure that they have told you “You will need to do a lot of tests”
It sounds easy, right? Everybody knows somebody who has done that already
The fine print?
When you try to go specific, they cannot tell you
Which lab? Which tests? Which standards? Which frequency ranges?

Specialised Research laboratories
On-site laboratories
Notified Bodies (NB)
Each of them would be the best for you depending on the product you are building and the development stage.
Know the laboratories around you is critical for your project: people, timelines, preferred ways of payment. Everything counts.
